It’s a new soundtrack, I could dance to this beat๐ŸŽถ

Are you over 1989 (Taylor's Version), Swifties?

Surprise! 1989 says nice to meet you again.1989 (Taylor’s Version) just dropped on October 27. last, Friday, Swifties gathered at ‘The 1989 Playlist: Swifties Listening Party’ on Vista Mall in Malolos to listen and celebrate the newly reclaimed album of the pop star Taylor Swift.

The event began by Swifties answering trivias about the 34-year old singer and their best impersonation of the artist with freebies and giveaways. Afterwards, they opened up the dance floor for them to listen, dance, and enjoy the newly re-recorded songs of the artist.

Swift penned a touching message for her fans on her social media platforms as she released the re-recorded version of the album,  She presented with ‘gratitude and wild wonder’ her version of 1989, as she said: “I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the re-release of this album I love so dearly.  Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic you would sprinkle on my life for so long.  This moment is a reflection of the woods we've wandered. Through all this love between us still glowing in the darkest dark.”

1989 (Taylor’s Version) is the fourth re-recorded album of the ‘Shake It Off’ singer. Apart from the 16 original deluxe tracks from the album that came out nine years ago, Taylor’s Version presented additional five vault tracks entitled: “Slut!,” “Say Don’t Go,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Suburban Legends,” and “Is It Over Now?”

The #1989TaylorsVersion climbed to number 1 trend on X (formerly Twitter) in the Philippines after the release of the said album. The album received mixed reactions from her fans, as some of the songs changed instrumentals and even vocals from the superstar.

Swifties that attended the listening party went home with more than freebies and giveaways from the said event, they also brought home smiles and memorable experiences that they shared with their friends and co-Swifties for the rest of their lives.
